Marco Baxadonne

Architect and designer, was born in Spotorno (SV) in 1961.

He graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic Institute of Turin, he works for many companies operating in different Industrial fields, including Calligaris, Mamoli, Mastella Design and Scirocco.

Development consultant at Framar Spa from 2000 to 2005, he received prestigious awards and recognitions in the same years; moreover he won in 2006 the Comfort & Design-ADI Prize and he was selected in 2006 and 2010 for the XXI and the XXII Compasso d’Oro Prize.

Lot of his projects and products are been exhibited: in 2003 at the Expocomfort Expo-Convention in Milan, in 2005 at the Milan’s Triennale Expo and in 2008 at the travelling Exhibition: Le eccellenze del Design Piemontese, Snowboard Design, il Villaggio del Design and in 2010 at the Pezzi al Forte Exhibition, Fortress of the Priamar, Savona.

Since 2007 he writes for Bagno e Accessori magazine, published by Il Sole 24 ORE and since 2009 he’s Directive Committee member of ADI Piemonte and Valle d’Aosta Delegation.

Oriano Favaretto

Oriano Favaretto

Oriano was born on 25 April 1956 in Silea (Treviso, Italy) in the Veneto countryside. Rural and visionary, looking for new emotions in poetry but with a touch of irony to survive, balancing between form and substance. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts where he had the opportunity to get to know and to engage with Emilio Vedova, a prestigious maestro of the language of gestures and signs.

Another important experience that left an indelible mark was the collaboration with Ennio Chiggio whose apprentice and collaborator Oriano became.

Among his major professional achievements have been an award in the Competition amongst the Italian Academies, the 1982 Lubiam Prize and the painting experience gained at the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation.

Oriano Favaretto has taken part in important international exhibitions including Events in Milan with Zuccheri and Oira, the travelling exhibition Flowers of Metaphor with Plessi and D'Orazio and the Murano prize in 1987 and 1992.

Selection in the frescoes competition for Sacca Fisola Venice. The Golden Lamp award of S.I.L. of Paris in 1993 was especially significant. In 1997 Marie Claire magazine awarded the Prix d'Excellence to his Polipò that then became the lamp of the year.

He has carried out important collaborations with many leading companies in industrial design such as Boss, Artemide, itre, De Majo, Venini, Linea Light, Viabizzuno, Icosmic bagni, Regia, Evaluz, Mastella, Moretti Andrea, Vistosi.

Christian Piccolo
Christian Piccolo

Born in 1977 in Montebelluna, eclectic designer.

After graduating at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice (110/110 e lode), he began working as a designer and interior designer. He has directed his research towards a plastic that could be called minimalist formal language and rational. His expression is reduced to the essential fact, is purely abstract, objective and free of surface decorations. Christian Piccolo favors the study focused on the possibilities offered by space-pure form.

He began his professional career designing his first ceramic products, after working with several companies he began to collaborate and complement the lighting. He has participated in major international exhibitions: Salone del Mobile (Milan), Cersaie (Bologna), ISH (Frankfurth), Abitare il Tempo (Verona), Macef (Milan) Light & Building (Frankfurth) Maison & Objet (Paris).

Roberto Semprini
Roberto Semprini

Born in Rimini in 1959, Roberto Semprini studied architecture in Florence. In 1987 he joined the Bolidismo expresses the design in a symbolic and synthesis of a concept of speed elettronica. Moved in Milan and started working as a freelance journalist for several design magazines like Mode, L'Atelier (Paris) and ARDI (Barcelona). In 1989, out of the sofa "Tatlin" Edra, which is produced between the winners of the prestigious TOP TEN in Dusseldorf. In 1994, with the table "Manta" for Fiam is among the winners of the Young & Design.

Its products are part of the permanent collection of the Montreal Museum of Decorative Arts in Canada and the New Museum of Design in London. In 2000 he moved to Rimini, where the space opens "RM 12 Art & Design" Gallery and Studio of Design and Interior Architecture. Since 2006, the studio realizes high-impact, about the search for new domestic and public spaces, within the cultural events such as fairs Both of Rimini, the exhibition at Fuori Salone del Mobile of Milan and Abitare il Tempo in Verona, Sun of Rimini.

In 2007 he was invited by the Seoul Living Design Fair (Korea) to exhibit "The house Italian / Korean." He has collaborated with numerous design firms like Fiam, Moroso, Alivar, Rede Guzzini, Edra, Ciacci, RSVP, Arredaesse, Sicis, Slide, Trivellini, Contempo, Ciacci Kreaty, Larms, Spaus, Ad Hoc, MB, Trend Group, Frighetto, Dilmos, Adrenaline, Morfeus, Mastella Design, Pedrali, Morelia, Scab, Valdichienti etc.

He has given lectures and seminars in various faculties of design such as the Faculty of Architecture of Florence, at Milan Polytechnic, the School of Engineering, University of Bologna, the IED Milan, the I. A.V. of Orleans and the School Elisava Barcelona, Politecnico of Milan ecc.He is currently Professor and Coordinator of the role of Artistic Planning for the Business Academy of Fine Arts of Brera
